The Valiant Outfitters’ Intro to Backpacking Adventure is a low-risk, high-reward first step toward overnight backpacking. Under the guidance of our founding outfitter, Joe Bassett, you’ll launch day hikes from a base camp where you’ll practice trail etiquette, Leave No Trace principles, tent construction, and packing and hiking skills without the stress that often comes with a first overnight hike.
